Pay policy defines the group of how payroll of an employee is calculated. i.e. how frequent the payment will be made (Pay Frequency), what is the type of income tax (local and foreigner should be placed in two different policies as they have different tax nature) and whether employer is paying tax for employee (net pay) .
You can open Pay Policy screen by click on Payroll Menu > Data Setup > Pay Policies.
